• This policy applies to any individual who uses our apps to demand any of the services provided by ZCabs (hereafter called ‘User’ in this policy). This policy does not apply to Driver-Subscriber-Entrepreneur (DSE), Service Provider (SP) or any other individual using ZCabs’ platform under respective policies, permissions and/or license (collectively called ‘Partners’ hereafter in this policy). In case you use our services both as a User and as a Partner, the respective policies apply to you based on your interaction with us. We respect our user's privacy and recognize the need to protect any personal information you share with us. We would like to assure you that we follow appropriate standards when it comes to protecting your privacy while using any of our services.

2 Platform Permissions

• Platform permissions define what data can be accessed by an app with your consent. This consent may be obtained from you by alerting or notifying you either before using the app or at the first usage of the app. The permission systems vary according to the Operation System platforms. The permissions requested by us may change over time and the same will be communicated to you there-after.

3 Information Collection

• This Privacy Policy applies to your use of interactive features or downloads that: (i) we own or control. (ii) are available through the Services or (iii) interact with the Services and post or incorporate this Privacy Policy.

3.1 Information Collection

3.1.1 Identity

• You provide us your name, mobile number, password and email id while registering as a user. These details are used to identify you as a unique user in order to provide you hassle-free services. We may also retain any messages, feedback you send through the app, and may collect information you provide in relation to our Services.

3.2 Information Collected from You through our Services

3.2.1 Contacts

• If you choose to use the tracking feature and ICE Alerts, we use the mobile numbers shared by you in your profile to send them your location details to track you. We have provided this feature to increase your own safety. The mobile numbers are read from your contacts in this case.

3.2.2 Location

• We collect your travel details like current location, travel time, source address and destination location only for the booking requests you make with us. You can choose to save your home address, office address and favourite travel addresses in your profile to make your booking experience more convenient. We also save your addresses from where you have travelled recently to book your next travel from the same location instantly.

3.2.3 SMS and Phone

• We may read your SMS during the registration process. We also send SMS to the registered mobile number containing details about your bookings. We also facilitate users and partners to make and receive calls.

3.2.4 Storage and Photos/Media/Files

• We may store and read photos from your device storage in case you have uploaded a profile picture in your account.

3.2.5 Log Information

• We may collect your device IP address, app crash activity, app features or pages viewed and/or third-party sites or services used by you before interacting with our services.

3.2.6 Device ID and Call Information

• We may collect information about your mobile hardware model, operating system and version used on your device, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information and/or mobile network information. We collect this information to uniquely identify your device in order to send you relevant push notifications.

3.2.7 Device and App History

• We may read information about any account associated with your device and may retrieve running apps.

4 Use of Information

• We require the information to identify you as a user, use in our analytics, improve our Services and provide new Services to our users. We keep this information for internal record keeping purposes only. We use your contact details to send you your trip related information to you as well as our service partners. We may sometimes send you information about our new services, special offers and/or other information which we think you may find interesting to your email id or mobile number. We may also sometimes contact you for your feedback or market research purposes via email or mobile number.

5 Information Sharing

• We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure with us and have taken appropriate steps to protect the information you share with us. We have implemented technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your personally identifiable information from unauthorized access and improper use or disclosure. The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to your account, at all times. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or guarantee that information on the app may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the functionality of your device or network.

• By using our services through the app, you agree for us to collect any personal information necessary to provide you the requested service and you agree that such personal information may be disclosed to the service partners (who may be third parties) for those purposes. We do not sell or rent any personal information to any third parties. unless we have your permission or are required by law. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.

6 Performance Analysis and Marketing provided by Others

• We may allow Service Partners (may be third parties) to provide Service Performance Analysis and to advertise on our behalf across the Internet. These Service Partners may use cookies, web beacons, SDKs and/or other technologies to identify your device when you visit the third party’s website or use any other services provided by them. This data will then be used to generate performance reports and improve our Services.

7 User Choices

7.1 Location Information

• Our app collects location details depending on the permissions granted by you. Disabling this setting will limit the capabilities of our app. We will however be able to read the trip locations and also your device’s approximate location based on the IP address.

7.2 Account Information

• Account Information may be changed anytime by logging into our app. You can also write to us at the below mentioned email address or reach out to our customer care executives on the support contact numbers mentioned on our website www.zcabs.in. You can also request for deleting your account by using any of the above mentioned communication channel. Your account information will be deleted only after resolving all issues related to your account (if any). Following deletion of your User account, we may retain your private profile information for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. For the avoidance of doubt, any information that you choose to make public on the app may not be removable.

7.3 Marketing Communication

• Opt-Out Options are available in the messages sent to you. The instructions mentioned in the messages may be followed to stop receiving such messages. We will however be able to send messages regarding the Services used by you and also about your account even after opting out of this service.

8 Changes to this Policy

• We may change this Policy from time to time. Significant changes, related to this Policy or related to the way in which we use your data, will be notified to you through appropriate channels of communication and/or by updating this section. Periodical review of this Policy is encouraged. Your use of our Services after changes to this Policy will constitute your consent to the changes.
